A fast-growing market is making waves in the plastic surgery industry: male enhancement. Every day, more and more men are seeking out plastic surgery – especially male enhancement procedures. Now that the stigma is dying out, men that have only wondered about the benefits of plastic surgery and non-surgical enhancement are gaining the confidence to take the next step and make an appointment.”
Increasing Confidence with Nonsurgical Enhancement
Many men are plagued by self-conscious thoughts regarding the size of their genitals. These doubts can seriously affect a person’s body image and self-confidence, which in turn can affect relationships, job performance, and other important areas of life. Male enhancement procedures and penis surgeries can help to address cosmetic concerns and increase men’s confidence, but some men feel hesitant to commit to surgical enhancement. Dr. Mata typically opts for nonsurgical enhancements rather than phalloplasty (surgical penile lengthening) for a variety of reasons. Perhaps the most important reason is that nonsurgical procedures can be performed in the privacy of the Natural Results exam room, whereas more invasive surgeries requiring anesthesia or incisions would need to be undertaken in the operating room. In addition, nonsurgical enhancements allow for quicker recovery and no scarring.

One of the most popular nonsurgical procedures that Dr. Mata offers is one he created himself, and men are traveling from across the country to receive it: the Magic Shot™. This treatment utilizes FDA-approved injectable fillers and/or fat transfer to enhance the width and girth of the penis, which can increase both confidence and pleasure. “We use fillers – hyaluronic acid injections, commonly used for lips – to increase the volume of the penis,” Dr. Mata explains. “Placing the filler into the penis allows the patient to gain extra girth and thickness, about 20% on average.” This procedure has little downtime, allowing out-of-state patients to fly in and out of Scottsdale on the same day.
Looking Towards the Future
With increasing social acceptance for both men and women, plastic surgery is thriving. Dr. Mata doesn’t see this trend stopping any time soon. “I don’t think plastic surgery will ever stop growing.
