Internet Evangelist David Hernandez Brings Inspiration to a World in Need

Share

Regardless how many things our world tries, it’s so often the case that brokenness, pain, and suffering dominate the headlines. There is so much good in the world, and yet so much hopelessness and suffering all at once. Voices of hope that bring clarity and truth are few and far in between.

This is what let preacher David Hernandez to begin a ministry of hope and inspiration when he was just a teenager. David Diga Hernandez is an evangelist, healing minister, author, and TV host. He has an uncommon grace to guide believers into closeness with the Holy Spirit. Based in Southern California, David travels worldwide to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and heads an anointed evangelistic healing ministry. His ministry is distinctly marked by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. David is a unique and emerging spiritual leader, called to take God’s saving and healing power to this generation.

“I’m an evangelist. Our ministry has a simple mission of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit through events and media.”

David Hernandez has a simple mission in life: to preach the gospel of salvation from sin through Jesus Christ to as many people as possible.

David works for David Hernandez Ministries/Encounter TV as a full-time internet evangelist.

“God called me to be a minister when I was 13 years old,” David explains. His mission is to leverage technology to further his work. “The ‘industry’ is showing a lot of potential with the rise of social media use. Newer, modern technology can be used to spread the message of the gospel further than ever before. A new ‘breed’ of ‘TV Preachers’ is rising… We can change our methods without having to change our message.”

Hernandez acknowledges that technology can have a bad side.

“Because media is so accessible, the ‘market’ has become saturated. It’s easier than ever to have a media platform; it’s harder than ever to break through the noise.

Because we still hold large events during the COVID years, we’ve drawn a lot of criticism, but we refuse to live in fear. At some point, you have to begin living life again.”

Church during the pandemic age has been difficult, as there’s been pressure to stay home and stay isolated. Thus, the need for technology has never been more pronounced. And David has taken advantage of technology as much as possible to make things accessible.

Another big challenge Hernandez has faced is censorship from the media. “We are working on building our own media platform to bypass censorship. We also will continue to see larger and larger ‘Encounter Services’ take place around the nation and the world.”

One project David is working on is called “Project ETV.” David explains, “Project ETV is our ministry’s latest expansion project. We are raising the resources to build a second production studio and ministry center in Austin, TX. Additionally, we are creating our own online video platform to defeat big tech censorship and to bring in the end-time harvest.”
